Your treats are hand-crafted and baked to order from scratch with the highest quality ingredients. It’s a labor of love, skill, and effort. It can take several days to go from the sketch you approve to the final hand-packaged product. I take special care and pride to ensure that each confection created for you tastes as good as it looks. My pricing reflects the work I do for you.
Cake
Cakes are priced individually according to the cost of ingredients and the labor involved in baking, decorating, and packaging. There is a delivery charge of $50 for wedding cakes (also stated in your contract), as the cake may need to be assembled at the venue.
Cookies
The minimum order for cookies is two dozen. Cookies usually average around 3-4 inches in size and start at $70 per dozen for the simplest designs. Each cookie is individually heat sealed and tied with a ribbon or a bag topper. The price increases dependent upon the size, colors, and details.
Booking
You can never book your orders too early! I suggest placing your order at least three to four weeks prior to your pick up date. That way there is enough time to for me to make your sweet treats for your upcoming event! Orders can be made on the request page or by Instant Message on my Facebook page.
To reserve a spot on my baking schedule, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The payment is due within 24 hours of ordering. Your order is NOT confirmed until I have received your deposit.
Delivery, Pick Up & Shipping Policies
I operate out of my home in West Bloomfield, Michigan. All orders (with the exception of wedding cakes) must be picked up at my home. JT’s Treats & Sweets works under the Michigan Cottage Food Laws. Because my home has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development, I regrettably am unable to ship.
